...what the modern Turks stand accused of, that is of conducting a genocide, is not true...at all. This fits perfectly, however, with what is known of European Christians whose own behavior led to the invention of the word "genocide" to define CHRISTIAN crimes they now what to smear Islam with....their Holocaust was in keeping both with their behavior towards Jews and their industrial development...accusing the Turks of genocide, in 1915, is a Christian gambit to make Muslims out to be the same kinds of sickos as Christians...

Toro gave us the Janissaries as an example of Christians being forced into Islam...that also won't wash. At the same the Janissaries were going, what was taking place across Europe and later in America? Ever hear of the African slave trade? Entire families, in the millions, were captured and sold into the most horrible slavery the world has ever known because you could never stop being a slave, and your grandchildren and their grandchildren would be slaves as well....this was totally new in the modern era where in the past slaves could be released or buy freedom and their children were not slaves automatically...but in the Christian slave trade you could NEVER be free...even if released they had Jim Crow waiting to lynch you at the drop of a hat and that didn't end until the 1960s and in many ways is still going on.

Africans were FORCED into Christianity the way every other group was, by having their customs destroyed and their own religions forbidden to them so that soon the only "pleasure" they could expect was to assemble in the white man's church, at the back, to listen to praises sung to the god of their slavers and rapists and murderers and torturers...so, they "became" Christian...but that didn't save their marriages, or their families, or their children, who were sold off piecemeal to the highest bidder and never heard from again...this is what was going when the Janissaries were being "raised" Muslim and given preferential treatment and pay and opportunities to the point where the Muslims demanded the same privileges for their children...and the Janissaries were disolved while the Christian slave trade went on, leading finally to a civil war in which 600,000 American Christians were killed by their fellow American Christians.

Clearly the Janissaries did not meet the challenge...but Toro will say he gave HIS opinions as I have just given mine...only mine aren't opinions based on prejudice...the historical record is there in countless books he COULD read..but wont because he LIKES what Aprim tells him more.
