There have been many instances where Christians in Iraq turned violent against one another because of church factions. This wasn't conspired by Saddam or Muslims but Christians fighting over Jesus. I remember hearing stories from my aunt and others how violence broke out between the fools of the two groups within church of the east over the date of Christmas. They said rocks were thrown, punches, knives etc. It was Iraqi police who had to stop the fighting and Muslims were actually confused at why they were fighting over a birthday. This isn't the only time this happened. There are also the common examples at picnics, weddings and parties where they fight over who leads the dance and there have been killings too. So all is not holy and it's not Muslims who keep them divided.

I was reading where some heroes were blaming Saddam for handing north Iraq to the Kurds, which he did not and he didn't fear Assyrians and divided them. Kurds refused to assimilate from early on(it's why many can't speak Arabic) and fought with soldiers against Iraqi government. Saddam only reached an agreement to stop the fighting and not because he hated the Christians. This is what happens when facts aren't important and history is taught by the aprims instead of legit research by actual historians who can describe what took place.

It's always easy to blame Muslims and pretend to be all holy and good and perfect which is far from the truth. The funniest of all things to me was how those making these claims can't even speak their own language because they're so western, yet we're told how Iraq didn't allow our language to be used and banned Assyrian names. If so, why is it that all those from iraq can speak their language and where are all these ashur, sargon and other assholes from?
