...Israel is the "historic mistake"...a mistake to try to murder all Jews and, failing that, putting the rest of them in a ghetto of a country stolen from Palestinians,,,and then use Israel to provoke the MidEast and make a fortune from our Treasury....the need for and the creation of Israel is the real historic mistake...had Christians any decency at all they never would have persecuted Jews for a 1000 years right up to the gates of Auschwitz and then compounded the inhumanity by posing as their "friends" and "defenders" by placing them in the middle of the Middle East with virtual targets on their backs...THAT was the historic mistake.
