there was no place in Germany where Jews were not sought after or were safe but the same is not true of Turkey where Christians were safe, had no history of persecution and were not hunted down all over the place. Most of the killings took place in the area where the fighting took place, and it was from that area where Christians were deported. The Christians elsewhere were not harmed and the churches remained open during the entire time without any harm or interruption. If the Turks had just gone after all Christians, sought them out from wherever and attacked their churches all over, we would have a totally different situation here. This was not the case and to this day there has not been any evidence that Turkey was out to kill all Christians. It was only after Turks were attacked and in danger that they turned so violent and there was an obvious reason. If the Turks committed genocide, then the Christian alliance also must be guilty of one because they deliberately tried to wipe Muslims that were living in the area. Many thousands of Kurds, Turks and Azeris were murdered and theor homes were destroyed.

There has to be consistency and the killings on all sides must be acknowledged here. But that is not the case snd it's unfortunate. The massacred Turks and others are ignored, without any evidence and they have been proclaimed guilty of a genocide because of their religion and those making the accusations have no evidence. It's innocent until proven guilty and not the other way around but that does not apply for the Turks or Muslims in general. That is why Islam always has to go on trial when any ass hole supposedly does something but the Christian is simply referred to as a "crazy person", "fake" and his religion could not have been the reason. But since Islam is supposed to be evil, it is automatically the cause for the Muslim's behaviour. If we compare the histories of these two religions, it has been Christianity that was oppressive and has a very bloody history. It was Christians who actually wiped out entire groups and forcefully converted people while Islam has no such history.

I notice a lot of times even fair minded people fall into the trap of painting the histories of all religions with one brush and that is wrong. There are differences between them and history makes things clear. Of course the average and those with certain views such as Aprim will never even read that or accept it because it is contrary to what they perceive Islam to be. They view Islam as violent, evil and from the devil so nothing positive can be true or accepted from it. The same people have been behaving "devilish" for almost 2,000 years yet accuse their enemy of that even though their enemy has been more "christ like" in conduct and history. It's supposed to Be Christians who are merciful, tolerant and loving yet they have been completely the opposite while Muslims have been so historically. It's sad but reality.
