No one here is talking about it...Blair still insists that removing Saddam made the world a safer place...which only goes to show you the man's perceptions and state of mind when he made that fateful decision to join the illegal war against Iraqi citizens....if this is how his mind functions now, today, after all the death and destruction, you pretty well know what a poor thing it was back then.

He looked out over Iraq and the region then, and saw danger and threat and dire consequences for his own country and the world...today, with all the ACTUAL dangers and destruction and instability, he looks out...and sees what? Why, he sees a beter world, NOW. Then it was all danger and emergency and "we gotta do something"...today it's, "things are actually better, yes, pretty good." That's a "leader".

...as one Iraqi put it..."You got rid of Saddam but now we have a thousand Saddams."

Did over 4000 American men and women die to make us safer? Really? DID they make the region safer...did they liberate Iraq...are WE more secure now that Saddam is gone and they're dead?

Not only were their deaths in vain, and never mind the hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi lives taken...but those soldiers died actually making the world LESS SAFE. That turns out to have been their real "mission".

Their deaths, the entire effort, wasn't "in vain"...it was WORSE than that.
