...what is a basic difference between the two? They both derive from Judaism and share many things...but what is the major difference?

Islam says Muhammad is a messenger from God...he has some things to tell us about living a moral life....the rules of Islam are pretty much the same rules as in the other two religions.

Christianity says its messenger is a god, or son of a god, or both....he has some good messages for us too...but, in order for the message to be complete and give us the full benefit, we have to participate in his murder...for he HAS to be murdered or else there is no message and there is no "reward" for following that message.

This is the real difference between the two...Christianity asks us to be part of a great crime, Islam does not. Christianity asks us to participate in human sacrifice, Islam does not.....Christianity asks us to accept benefits as a result of murder, Islam does not.

To start out in life as a Christian you have to accept this crime, accept that it was done for you, that it "cleansed" you and that you will receive great "gifts" as a result of this crime.

Islam asks none of this, neither does Judaism.

This incitement to violence, at the very beginning of a religion, which is taught to children, goes a long way to explaining why Christians are so violent...they must accept not only murder, as a part of their religion, and not just murder but the devout JOY in that murder, but they must accept the gifts which came their way ONLY through that murder, through that crime...on earth THAT is a crime as well. You can't legally, never mind morally, accept a gift which came to you by way of a crime..but this is a central part of this religion, this "gift" of eternal life in heaven which ONLY comes to us through the murder of an Innocent...Islam has none of this...it has no "founding" crime...now, Muslims certainly may commit crimes...but Christian belief is predicated, it BEGINS with a crime and in crime.

Once you're willing to receive benefits from the murder of an Innocent...why would you stop at any other murder, especially if you can get more great gifts...like oil, and money and power? Why stop?

And they don't.
