They are not "the same". They are both religions, derived from Judaism more or less...but there are wide differences. Again, I'm not Muslim or Christian...but you don't have to be either to look at them dispassionately.

Mr Suave has claimed that one is as bad as the other...for proof, or what he considers proof, he mentions that "both commit violence". But that doesn't explain much. A Christian country that attacks a Muslim country cannot equate its violence to that of the Muslims defending themselves. You don't call a woman "equally violent" because she fights her assailant.

In the last 200 years it has been Christians attacking Muslims, not the other way around. Muslims do not build the kinds of weapons, or any weapons, that Christians do...they haven't the means to fight army-to-army...so they have to improvise...and they do their best, often placing their own unguarded bodies on the line....what is their alternative?

There are criminals in both camps...but Christians deny that any of their criminals are typical of Christianity while insisting that Muslims criminals are REAL Muslims....this is unfair and wrong.

Neither religion can be blamed for the criminals who were born into it or grew up "wrong". But...why are there so many more wrong Christians than Muslims? Why is it Christians, wrong or right, who do all the attacking and killing in this world...or most of it? Nothing in either religion, you would think, teaches this kind of violence. Christians say "yes, Islam does"...but that is nonsense. Muhammad told his followers to fight back when attacked...as all Christians do.

But there are significant differences which I think make a significant impact and produce those millions of "wrong" Christians. This is my opinion, true, but it is an opinion based on facts, not prejudice.

For one thing Christianity is evangelical....Islam is not. Christians are taught to spread the word...this sounds innocent enough but in reality leads to arrogance and disdain for the beliefs of others. How do you spread Christianity without insulting the prophets, religion and gods of other people?

For another thing Christianity is bathed in violence and blood, from its inception. "Washed in the blood of Jesus" is only one example....and then there is ritual human sacrifice, also bloody. Jesus had to be murdered or there couldn't even be a religion...and no heaven. This last also teaches young people to accept gifts that can only some through murder...you get heaven ONLY if you agree that Christ was killed for YOU, personally. On earth, under secular law, that makes you a party to a crime, after-the-fact...by accepting the swag, whether a gold watch or eternal life, which only came to you by YOU agreeing to have the innocent victim killed, makes you equally guilty with the killer.

And then there is cannibalism and vampirism, two of the most detested crimes in history...condemned by almost all people....and yet both of these disgusting practice are Christian rituals...children are told to eat human flesh and drink human blood...this can't be healthy...and it doesn't have to infect everyone...just enough to produce those legions of "wrong" Christians who do all the damage.

Also, the church....a blood body hangs over the altar where children kneel to drink blood and eat flesh...pictures and statues show the body with its heart exposed...etc.

Blood and murder and human sacrifice and awful ceremonies litter Christianity...and have no part in Islam...this has to make an impact.
