About a year ago I heard about an artist who had set up a theatre workshop in Jenin to free the occupied minds of the Palestinian children and pave a way of creativitiy and peace - a means outside of violence - to transcend the negative forces of destruction and war. His name was Juliano Mer-Khamis, the son of a Jewish mother and a Palestinian father, who was shot down and murdered yesterday, the same day when 43 years back, another peacemaker was shot down in Memphis. Rest in Peace, Juliano... Rest in Palestine.
