27,000 Assyrians died from the sanctions, and no word from any of these heroes about that. This is a big number and I wonder why these children are not on the list of martyrs. But we been hearing all our lives that the Iraqi government committed a "genocide" against our "Assyrian" nation in 1933 by killing 300 people. I think there is a big difference between 300 and 27,000 and I know that "dead Christians" are a good cause for Fred Aprim and the rest of the group. Seems like a double standard that 27,000 are not cared about but we are supposed to be outraged over one "kidnapped" Assyrian girl who in almost all cases turns out they married a Kurd or an Arab out of love. It is clear that dead Christians or dead anyone don't mean anything but these people have an agenda and their agenda is to cause trouble, get as many Christians in trouble or killed at the hands of Kurds or Arabs and this way they can say they are "persecuted".

I have to this day never heard any of them mention the school bombing in Baghdad during the 90s. The American missile ended up killing over 500 children and and adults, all of them Christians, and it was Saddam who rebuilt the school and had statues made in the image of angels as a memory of the children. I assume the incident does not serve the cause because it was a Christian missile which bombed the school. After almost 80 years, we are still expected to hate all Muslims and Iraq because the government killed 300 people in Simele but not a word about the thousands killed by Christians. This is like the "genocide" of 1915. We are expected to believe Fred Aprim when he states that "800,000 Christian Assyrians were murdered by Moslem Turks in the name of Jihad" even though he can't back this statement up, but not one of them wants to comment on an established and proven number by the U.N which says 27,000 Christian children died due to sanctions. What a hypocrisy and how ridiculous these people are. What an "Assyrian Nation" they have and what a strange kind of nationalism.
