Actually, I've got not much against Maggie...she's about as flawed as I, and your average person, am. What I take exception to i the drumbeat of assyrian white noise over what they are owed and how someone, somewhere, should give them what they deserve...and, of course, her nasty and mean-spirited attack on Dr. Joseph...based on the usual sillies, mainly..."I don't like what he says".

It's gratifying to see that over the last 12 years, little by little, the number of assyrian nationalists has diminished....at least those willing to go on the net and rant their versions of history. I'd like to think that our bashing them repeatedly on this forum, as well as their own, had something to do with it.

One thing an assyrian hero can't stand is ridicule. According to themselves, they can take anything...even a bullet for dear old Nineveh...though they made sure go get out of the line of fire fast....but ridicule is another thing. This is made all the harder for them because even though given the chance to fight back, to defend their views and demolish their antagonists in turn, they can't do it......some of them have tried, but it always works out the worst for them. Plus which it's all there, on public display...take Bet-Solomon and his lies about Islam...lies we've confronted and shown to be lies, with hard evidence. This fellow still prances about as the "historian of assyria" or some such thing...but we've all seen that for five years he's been unable to meet the simple challenge we made asking him to present us with actual historical evidence for his claims....this is embarrassing for him, no doubt....so he just ignores if and goes on writing the same article he's been issuing at intervals for several years now.

The short of it is that for whatever reason there is a stark dropping off in the numbers of sillies calling for an Assyria "NOW"....please. And that's a good thing....it was our aim all along and we, at least, achieved our purpose.

...where's Nineveh guys?
