...we're down considerably from a couple of years ago when we averaged over 2000 visits a day, that's unique visits. Taco made much of the fact that we have only three or four people writing on here...as if that means anything. Everyone is welcome to write...we don;t control that...it isn't our fault if assyrians have nothing to say or are afraid to say what they think over here where there's no protection for them.

..over at Maggie's the get a maximum of 70 visits a day...most posts get about 20...it's true they have more assholes writing than we do...but all assholes are welcome.

What is more important than how many write is how many read...and we have readers from all over the world, including Iraq. Part of the problem is that we repeat ourselves a lot...if you've read here for a week you pretty much know all we have to say about assyria. If assyrians could actually engage in dialogue there might be many more people interested in reading what is said...that isn't our fault either.

I'd like to STOP repeating myself, but so long as our "enemies" do and say the same dumb stuff year and year out, we're forced to comment...even if it gets old...because this stuff gets out there...it drifts along on the web and people far afield run into it...and so that it's worth it.

The interesting thing is that very few people want to READ what Maggie and Aprim and the rest are writing....we don;t have a couple of thousand any longer...but our numbers still beat all the others..probably beat them all combined.

If we had a REAL enemy...we could really go to town...you have to take the assyrians as they come...and they don;t come very often.
