...a few things to note: The Georgia "Religious Liberty Bill", which the Georgia Congress passed and sent on to the governor, has nothing to do with religion, or liberty....there is plenty, to too much, religion all over America. It is a bill designed to deny full rights to Gay people, whom religious folk hate....it's a "Gay Hate Bill"...but never mind.

The Governor, Nathan Deal, just vetoed the bill because, what else could he do? American corporations from CNN to Disney to Coca Cola descended on the governor like harpies saying if the bill became law they would have to rethink their presence in a state that openly discriminates...hell, even the SUPER BOWL said it was unhappy. What could the hapless, hypocrite of a governor do but veto the bill...because although Americans go on and on about religion and Jesus and morals, we all know the real god is MONEY...and so Jesus lost.

This is the beauty of hypocrisy; sooner or later it catches you out. The Republican legislators got their feel-good moment...they threw red Jesus-meat to their fans, and passed the whole mess up to the governor and let HIM take the fall.....he is now the one who axed "religious freedom"...and it is wonderful to behold.

Conservatives hate change...if society had been so constituted that Gays had been welcome for 2000 years and a new movement began to deny them rights, the "Conservatives" would fight like hell for Gay Rights...just because Conservatives dread change, whatever the change is, the bigger it is the more they hate it. It isn't an ideology at all...it's just Fear.

This country is changing in some very good ways..all of them despised by those who want the "good old days"...which weren't good at all but just what they were used to.

FOX brags that it has the largest audience..well, of course it does because it merely reflects, and caters to, the majority who fear change. Where's the big deal in that? Where's the journalistic achievement? None.

The ones who are innovative and daring and facing the future, and are therefor unpopular with the frightened ones, are Democracy Now...RT News and yes, even Rachel Maddow.

....what a treat to see Nathan Deal cave...but of course he didn't really...he remained true to America's true god....cash.
