Our little hero here tells that he's Assyrian and that it should be accepted just by them merely claiming it. They shouldn't ever be questioned on this according to Arian Ishaya, Fred Aprim, Warda and every other dweeb who "writes" his own book. Funny how easy it is to write books and become a hero and have your balls stroked on their forums. You don't have to be a historian to write history books about a subject. If you feel like you can do it, then you can do it and those books have to be accepted the same way a book by an actual historian of that field of study is accepted. If you don't accept it, they say you're not accepting their side, it's not fair and there is nothing else they can do since you just don't take their evidence. In their minds, they have provided their evidence and done their job but you don't accept it. Since we are questioning them and proving them to be a fraud, we must be filled with hatred, are out to get them and trying to hurt them. It is as if they're not filled with hatred against Muslims and Arabs.

It also goes to show how little history of Iraq these people actually know. They are under impression that Iraq was Assyria before the Arabs came. They are not aware that there was once an Assyria in what is today Iraq but that was over 2600 years ago. There was no longer an Assyria when the Muslims came to Mesopotamia. There was an Assyria over a 1000 years before the Muslims and centuries before Christianity. Why stop there, and not go back even further and one finds there was also a Babylonia, Akkad, Sumer and other nations and kingdoms that existed in what is now Iraq. Assyria wasn't the only place in what is now Iraq and it sure as hell wasn't Assyria before or until Muslims arrived. There was no Assyria and "Assyrians" in over 1200 years before Islam and there hasn't been one in over 2600 years.

When one mentions this fact, they think we're saying there never was an Assyria or that we're saying that nobody knew about Assyrians for last 2000 years or so. We have explained already what is meant by "no Assyrians" and it wasn't our opinions but the facts explained in detail by John Joseph. Of course there were people who knew there was once an Assyria and there were people who at one point mentioned themselves as being born in "Assyria" but that didn't mean they were saying that they were related to the ancient Assyrians. Fred Aprim thinks it's silly to think they became Assyrian recently because he thinks they're to proud to have just accepted it recently and such thing takes centuries to develop, but we know that's not true. One can see Italians coming to America and becoming "American" very quickly. There are many US fanatics today who wave flags yet they were not patriotic before 9/11. By the time the Assyrian identity was revived and given to Nestorians, the Chaldean name was already in use and nationalism was on the rise in the region. The Arabs were Muslims first but now you have over 20 Arab countries who all take pride in being Kuwaiti, Jordanian, Syrian, etc. These countries haven't even been around very long, their flags and countries were created by British, French, etc, yet their proud and didn't take centuries.

When the discoveries were made by the Euros, this was a big find and naturally people would feel proud with something like that being found in their land. Nationalism was on the rise and these people didn't just want to be Christians among Arabs or Turks. There was already the Chaldean name which was exotic to them and being used by the Catholic ex-Nestorians, and the remaining Nestorians were also using it because they were jealous and felt left out. There was no Chaldean discovery made but the Assyrian discoveries were great and the name was now sweeter and more exotic. It's very natural to accept such identity and I would have done it too in those days.

Even if there was no evidence to prove these dweebs to be fraudulent, I can just look at Aprim and see the difference between him and those fierce ancient warriors. I mean honestly, can one see any resemblance between Aprim, Bet-shlimon and the rest of these wimps and those ancients? It has to be embarrassing if anything. It's like you once said a member of the Rokerfeller family being a janitor and claiming descent.

These people are a fraud. They run from words and get uncomfortable with mere words and questioning their absurd claims. This is a matter of faith to them and should never be questioned according to them.
