I also noticed that certain Muslims even say Isa, peace be upon him. I, on the other hand, was trained early on to be obnoxious and disrespectful toward Muslims, the Quran, Jews, etc. I guess when your told Isho's God's son, it gives you an inflated ego. Add that to the idea of being a "direct" descendent of Ashur and Sargon, then you start acting like an asshole deluxe, the way I used to be as a kid. The other night I was watching a lecture by Israeli professor at Tel Aviv Universtiy, Shlomo Sand, about his book, "The Invention of the Jewish People", in which he points out certain things that in some ways parallel that of Dr. Joseph's on the modern Assyrians. If you're interested, it's about an hour long.. It's very interesting and controversial. Sand, like Finkelstein, is an old school Marxist, and an anti-Zionist.. Check it out when you can:
