...that's right baby...it's so fucking obvious, and at the same time incomprehensible, though not really, that people just can't see it.

Capitalism was alright so long as it was the early stages of the Industrial Revolution...some guy had the money to start up a lumber mill and in time people could buy planks for their homes instead of having to chop and hew the wood themselves...so far so good, although the degradation of the land and water began then as well.

Or even during the age of the family business, even big business when the profit went to the family alone...but as soon as the stock market took over and family businesses were turned into stock companies which had to attract investors and, worse yet, pay them increasingly high returns, the profit motive was put in complete control...of everything, religion and war among the most profitable.....but, to make money on war there has to BE war....it's just "business" after all.

Not total war against an equal adversary, but no, these chicken-shit hero-producing-by-ton wars against far weaker people...you know "safe" wars where the United States really risks nothing, except making a lot of money...so a few thousand hero/soldiers die, so what? How many Americans die due to lack of medicine, or decent food, or hope or industrial accidents and negligence? What about our infant mortality rate which is the highest among industrialized nations...they don't even get a chance to become "heroes". And who cares about them?
