That's great brother! It's great that u made it known even though I had an idea even before. This is your right and choice. If there is anyone today who has a right to be called Assyrian, then that person must be you. You have contributed far more, and your accomplishments speak for themselves. Your version of Assyrian doesn't have Christianity tagged along with it nor are the two words even synonymous to begin with. Why should these religious bigots be able to use the ancients, whom they themselves don't care much for, to hide their bigotry behind? Why should an Atheist, Muslim, etc who came out of the same community hide himself while they maintain that only Christians are true Assyrians. I am happy that u came out the closet and I am happy you are not a Christian who hides behind Assyrian in order to get an easy way out.
