...we Darkies have one, serious, flaw; we are too polite and defernetial to stone cold, white people. We are too easily impressed by how much THEY are impressed with themselves...we think they are superior because, we think, they have controlled their emotions through greater wisdom. We don´t realize until too late that their emotions are either stunted or dead, not "under control"...that they dwell in their heads because their hearts have become inhospitable to humanity...and they don´t smell of garlic, or have hair on their legs...and we do.

We think they have evolved to a higher state of being, instead of died inside....we mistake dullness for maturity...and, alas, we learn the truth much too late, if ever.
