I completely understand one side of the rage, and remain baffled at the other side. On one side, we see Whites going berserk as usual over a non WASP or Jewish American winning, which is nothing surprising considering segregation indirectly still exists and there is still a "Larry the Cable Guy" mentality. However, it still baffles me that they cannot understand that Ike's America is over and Jefferson Airplane's vision of America is inevitably taking over, and society has moved greatly in that direction, even though there is still tons of work to do. What does not surprise me is that it had to be an Indian Hindu, not a Muslim/Black/Latino/Arab or insert any other undesirable minority in the slot, including Assyrian. Unless the foreigner is Asian (specifically Chinese/Japanese/Korean Vietnamese), Jewish, or an Indian Hindu, then the foreigner is undesirable, and so is the their offspring, who are born in America. That is the tragedy of a minority Miss America being, not surprisingly, an Indian Hindu.
