>I just wish we had more of you and Dr John Joseph;

..Dr Joseph certainly inspired me...and I think he'll inspire many others over theyears. These things take time...real change is slow.

we would definetely get things done then. Until then it's gonna be the way it is. Self made "leaders" who want to rule over a bus full of people and compete with one another. If you disagree with any of their decisions, you're a "sell out". I just would like to know where on this earth there is a nation or an entire ethnic group which all agree on every subject down to the tiniest detail.

...we have no concept of a "loyal Opposition". In England that's what they call the party out of power...people disagree, but they remain loyal to the larger entity...we have none of that. Our people will cut off a duaghter,a son, a parent, friends any time they come to form a different opinion...that's the reason we're so fragmented and at each other's throats.

I was reading on another forum how they were saying that "we need to unite with "Suryoye, Chaldeans, Maronites, and Assyrians" and I am just wondering what would they achieve then? even if they were united with the above sects, what difference would that make or who would be intimidated by them.

..none at all. What they are asking for is unreasonable and never granted to anyone...you can get what you can TAKE and hold. But to be begging people or demanding and making empty threats. or, the embarrassing officials is all silly and petty stuff. We'd have to make a major shift in direction away from mediocrity towards excellence...and that very idea is hated and feared by every nationalist; because the way they've set it up it's so damn easy to be Assyrian...so damn easy. If the standard shifts and true achievement and learning and study is required, these people will howl and yell and dig up your grandparents.

At another place they were talking about "Farid Parhad" and telling everyone to stay away from his forum and I am just wondering why would some one who is confident and cock sure about everything scare others away from coming on this forum.

...you answered it; because they aren't sure of anything and know from experience that they can't argue their way out of a wet bag. I noticed a sharp drop in readers since you started posting here and I'm pleased. In every way they prove me right. Assyrians never ran...they never ran from arrows and swords and chariots, they sure as hell didn't run from words. The other forums place great importance in being "popular"...I could care less. At our lowest we still have more people reading here than the other places do...and the numbers are climbing back up...because people are bored with the empty words and even though the words here are harder to take, we do have people who seek substance, even challenge.

The other kind of people we never needed and never cared to attarct. You brought a significant new dimension...you chased Jumblat and Mucnho away simply by going toe to toe with them till they ran. So I'm very pleased you showed up.

Why not just come here and see for themselves and find out if he is "anti Assyrian" or whatever else they say of him? The same thing was said about me a few years ago. Every one including my own sieblings were being warned not to talk or listen to anything I say regarding Islam, politics or anything else, and I all I can ask is the same question, what is the fear?

..great fear because they know, they KNOW they aren't Assyrian in any way.

>I don't fear hearing some one else hell I don't even fear my opponents if they were coming to fight me so why fear words or another point of view. But of course, only when a person is weak at what he/she is doing will he/she avoid serious talk or another view or opinion. That is exactly what is the problem with these so called nationalists. Fred Aprim nearly receives a heart attack if he hears Christians having had good things in Iraq. He only wants to hear bad things so he can keep doing what he loves to do. But I know he is full of it and he is weak as hell even at what he does. The clown is only good for using sophisticated words and terms, yet he don't even know their meanings.

...he is a sad man. He wants to be a leader or writer in Assyria and not an engineer in America. And the only way he and Rosie and the rest can be those things if they CALL themselves those things...and they know dep down it's a fraud.

>Take care and as always keep up the battle, InshaAllah.

..sure thing. You too.
