Now I will post and show what some of the top Christian Bible scholars have to say about their own book. Some of the arrogant Christians who like to slander others usually try to pretent that they are humble and say "see at least we admitt the truth about ours, but will you". This kind of behaviour makes me more sick to my stomach when they pretend that they are suddenly humble knowing that this is not the case. Those Christian scholars are humble, and sincere in their works but that is not the case for the church and its ministers who hate these people and call them all kinds of names. But I still have to take off my hat to these sincere and honest Christians who only do this for the sake of truth. Let them speak for themselves on what exactly the Bible is and its history.

First, Here is a Dr. w Graham Scroggie of the Moody Bible institute in Chicago on of the top Christian evangelical mission in the world. In his book, he writes the following:

"Yes, the Bible is human though some, out of zeal which is not according to knowledge, have denied this. Those books have passed through the minds of men, are written in the language of men, were penned by the hands of men, and bear their style the charecteristics of men"("Is the Bible the word of God?", p 17).

Another Christian scholar, Kenneth Gragg the Anglican Bishop says the following"

"Not so the New Testament. There is condensation and editing, there is choice, reproduction and witness. The Gospels have come through the mind of the church behind the authors. They represent experience and history". ("The Call of the Minaret". P 277).

Mrs Ellen G. White a scholar and leader of the Seventh Day Adventist Church writes the following in the Bible commentary Vol. 1, Page 14.

"The Bible we read today is the work of many copyists who have in mostinstances done their job with marvellous accuracy. But copyists have not been infallible, and God most evidently has not seen fir to preserve them altogether from Error". "I saw that God had especially guarded the Bible, yet when copies of it were few, learned men had in some instances changed the words, thinking that they were making it plain, when in reality they were mystifying that which was plain, by causing it to lean to their established views, which were governed by tradition". (Ellen G White, Bible commentary page 14).

Then there was the "Awake Magazine" of the Jehova Witness's and in their Sepetmber 8, 1957 issue they wrote "50,000 errors in the Bible". They go on to say:

"In copying the inspired originals by hand the element of human frailty entered in, and so none of the thousands of copies extant today in the origina language are perfectly duplicates. The result is that no two copies are exactly alike". "The evidence is, therefore, that the original text of the Christian Greek scriptures has been tampered with, same as the text of the LXX(Old Testament. Jehova Witness "Awake Magazine").

The most recent published book by Dr. Bart D. Ehrman, "Misquoting Jesus" this world renowned Bible scholar gives even more details in his book. He gives so much details that were long known by other scholars but the average person did not know this much about the Bible. The 4 "Gospels" and all the controversies regarding the scribes in early centuries who were altering texts intentionally and unintentionally and the various verses and chapters which are unknown to the earliest, best and most accurate manuscripts of the Gospels.

Then we have 32 Bible scholars of the "highest eminence" who were supported by a committee representing 50 cooperating denominations, and here is what they had to say about the so called best and most accurate Bible of the English language which came out in 1611 and it is known as the "King James version". It was argued and many Christians still hold it as the favorite Bible in the english language. Many go as far as to say it is more holy than the ones in other languaages. Let's see what these 32 Bible scholars of the highest eminence who came out with the "Revised Standard Version" in 1952 had to say about it.

"The King James version has with good reasons been termed the noblest monument of the English prose...." "Yet the King James Version has grave defects. By the middle of the 19th century, the development of Biblical studies and discovery of many manuscripts more ancient than those upon which the King James Version was based, made it manifest that these defects are so many and so serious as to call for revision of the English translation". (Preface of the Revised Standard Version" 1952).

These are Christian Bible scholars and they confessed this. In their new version, they threw out many verses, chapters and words as interpolation and corrupt. They now have the "New Revised Standard Version" which is now like the 4th time it's been "revised". There is much more to provide from Christian scholars about the Bible and next I will get into the subject of copying, inshaAllah. As anyone can see, I did not get my sources from Muslims but from Christian scholars of the Bible. I will be back with more on copying.
