One way or another I do not care what the origin of Eater is and whom it is attributed to. If Maggie is claiming something that is not hers (Assyrian) then she has adopted something from a different culture and I would not find that offensive at all since all of these entities existed at different times in the same geography.

Nationalism could be said that it is a modern concept but how does that change a Nationality? If the two can be separated then I assume all mankind would have nothing that would distinguish one nation from another; one civilization from another.

By the same token why do we have borders, passports and visas? Some these things are modern concepts as well.
