...a reasonable person, say a sort of forensic detective, when told that Islam is out to get America would start the investigation by first taking down the background story...for instance, what are the acts of violence or "terror", when did they start...did anything happen around the time the acts first started which might explain why they started. In other word some investigation to place events in context.

But this has never been done, not even by scientists whom you'd think would bring their scientific method to bear on this problem instead of mouthing common certainties which just happen to fit the power-narrative.
