I watched this show on animal planet where this hill billy got nearly killed by a baby cow he had raised. I guess he thought of it as a human and forgot it was an animal. He was saying how he whipped the animal because it gave him an attitude which he didn't like. He said "damn it, I raised you, you live by my rules" and the cow had enough at that point and attack. Westerners forget that animals are animals and can't be turned into humans nor can they go against their own nature. It's nice to look at animals at the zoo while eating ice cream but it isn't fun for the animal to be locked in by a fence without much freedom.
