I guess they think if they complain and tell their fabricated/exaggerated stories just enough, maybe white people will listen, feel sympathy and help them. And they also think white people will help them just because these silly Assyrians are christians. They have been doing this for the last 100 years and it hasn't worked and it won't work but they continue with this position which has failed. This whole "assyrian nation" thing remains in business only when christians are being killed and those christians have to be killed by muslims or else their nation falls apart. This isn't a nation nor an ethnic community. It's a christian religious sect which adopted an ethnic identity and have been trying to fool the world ever since. The fact that hardly anyone of significance gives them any attention shows that nobody believes them or they aren't important and interesting to anyone. They can't even play the indigenous game with the world because anyone who has lived in an area for 400 years is qualifies for that status according to the UN. Therefore, when Aprim says we are the "indigenous people of iraq" he is only making a clown of himself and his nation. --------------------- |
