My sister-in-law is Russian. When she came here about twelve years ago, she was Miss fucking Amrerican apple pie! Now she's been working and living from one paycheck to the next with the threat of not getting funding for her next project (she's a bio-chemist). She understands the way shit works here now and she thinks it's insane! She so thankful that she got her education during the old Soviet days in Moscow and East Germany.
