But that isn't the point. The Kurds get to keep whatever they TAKE, in the best international tradition. He's merely assuming that our dummies know this.

As for our nation and peoples; that need no introduction for they are well known as the aboriginal people of Iraq; in spite of our declined population in our homeland recently for known reasons made possible through futile attempts of ethnic marginalization and fear policies, all the afore mentioned cannot and will not pass by as an excuse to confiscate our legitimate national rights.

>...when the Apaches and Comanches get "their land back", then you might expect something...at least there will be a precedent you can cite. Your claims to "indigenous rights" are empty because meaningless...as no country has ever respected such things. As the Kurd says, you are now citizens of Kurdistan and if you make the same mistake you did when in Iraq; commit sedition, you will once again find yourself in jail or worse...or forced to leave. Of course YOU won't run any such risk because you left long ago.

>As for the alleged non-existence of a Caldo-Assyrian land; all we have to do is take a look at the history of the land of Mesopotamia, and we will see that all of Mesopotamian land ((Kurdistan included)) is the inheritance of the nation that descended from the Babylon and Ashur Civilizations. And presently

They are willing to accept you as descendants of anyone you claim...until it's time to hand out anything...then no one, no one who has anything you want, is going to buy your ditzy claims...it will never happen...such claims will be honored at parties in San Jose and by officlas in America, because it costs them nothing...but when you think to use these claims as a basis for getting the land someone else has staked a MODERN claim to...forget it. And if you keep this up you will be guilty of sedition and pay the same price Native Americans did in America: You will become a criminal.

>(if in question) the loyalty to the homeland (Iraq) is the undisputed heartthrob of our nation that has no equal in its past and present sense of belonging to its roots, and the ever proud nation of its history and culture; these are the sons and daughters of our Chaldo-Assyrian Syriani Nation, who are deeply rooted in this land and they are not resident guests as they are described by Mr. Bakhtyar; for the owner of the house can never be a guest in that same house.
>
>...you are no more deeply rooted than anyone else in Iraq who's been there for at least 400 years...the time designated by the United Nations and agreed upon by the world to establish legal status as "indigenous"...no one credits your stupid claim to having more rights because YOU say you're Ashurbanipal's son.

>We are confident that Mr. Bakhtyar's statement does not reflect the views of the leadership of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

>...get rid of that silly confidence...which has no basis in fact. If you read more of history and politcal science mixed with psychology, instead of pouring over Syriac manuscripts, you'd realize how you continually set up the Christians of Iraq for retaliation and legal action. You will either be loyal citizens of Kurdistan, content to have the same sorts of silly parades and days of "pride" as you do in Turlock...or you will find yourselves in trouble. I only wish it could be you who pays the price this time.

Ameen, but it is always the innocent who pay the price for the stupid acts of these so called "Assyrian warriors" who can be seen in action at the weekend "haflat" or "linda goreg's dance party". I guess they forgot that they are only allowed to operate in Kurdistan because of the Kurds. They are their mere servants anyways who try to make noise from California.
