...actually, the idea of eternity without end sounds terribly like Hell.

Think of anything you enjoy here on earth...your favorite thing, and then imagine doing it for 100 years.......10,000 years......a million years. What could be more awful and boring.

Variety is the spice of life, it makes each day seem fresh and new...but the same things for ten million years? No thanks.
