As far as I know, it was either the Georgians (Gorgestan) who made Christianity their state religion in order to cut-off themselves from the Persians and connect themselves to Christian Russia; or, the Armenians.... The Assyrians claim to be the first Christians is soley based on the "Jesus spoke Aramaic, therefore, Assyrians are the first Christians"... ridiculous... please teach me, if I'm wrong. Thank you.
