Rashid, my brother, try watching this film on YouTube. The man whom the film is about is Herbert Marcuse, my professor's teacher. When my prof. introduced me to some of Marcuse's ideas, I said fuck the college degree, I'm going to be the student of Marcuse's student. I spent 5 to 7 years with my professor because unlike the other incompetent so-called professors, Farrel was the only genuine teacher on campus... As far as books, the best one that I came across is from 1959 (it was the first translation of Marx's philosophy, it's titled "Marx's Concept of Man", written by Erich Fromm, who's written many great books, including "Escape From Freedom", "The Sane Society" and "The Art of Love"... Do read "Marx's Concept of Man", it'll open your eyes to all the bullshit the West fed the rest regarding "Commies".
