...in fact, not only is the Turkish action during WWI NOT a genocide or anything near to what the Naziīs did....but to keep it in perspective it would be as if the Christians had, after centuries of persecuting and abusing Jews all of a sudden and from nowhere decided to be fair and kind and APOLOGIZE and make REPARATIONS and admit THEIR PAST CRIMES towards Jews...the world would be as shocked as ever it could be by this sudden turn-around...this totally uncharacteristic behavior by intolerant Christians.

Likewise for the Turks, who were as noted for religious toleration as the Germans were for a complete lack of it...to all of a sudden turn on their Christian population also comes as a shock and completely unexpected...yet Christians are trying very hard to say that this was just always the way it was...that the Turks were as "anti-Christian" as the Christians had been anti-Jewish...but history gives this the lie.

Something rare and overpowering would have had to have happened to Christians to make them change their centuries-old and well-documented hatred and persecution and murder of Jews, for their religion ALONE, but it didnīt...nothing happened to change Christian intoeralnce and murderous impulses...But...we KNOW that something rare and overpowering DID happen to Turks to make them change their centuries-old and well-documented tolerance for religious minorities..and that something was the unprovoked attack by Christian nations against a "sick old man" along with the lure and promises dangled before the Christian Turks which seduced them into fighting against their own neighbors for the Allied cause.

The Christians behaved completely in character in their genocide and Holocaust...the Turks, on the contrary, did something completely OUT of character and contrary to their well-established practise of religious tolerance..as best exemplified in the millet system which Christians, not Muslims, destroyed.
