I wish now that 60 minutes had showcased one of our own explaining how he and his fellow Christians are the real and only descendants of the ancient Assyrians. I wish SOMEBODY would give them an international platform from which they could inform the world about who they are...and show what they REALLY are. MumboJumbo won't do..they're too obviously sophmoric...but any one of the "educated lions" we have..any one at all...who could tell everyone in the world once and for and give whatever evidence and proof and logic they have to back their claims...nothing would kill these claims faster than a full and complete airing.

And maybe they know that...maybe that's the reason they never demand such a thing...not really. Maybe that's why they settle for the kinds of "books" they do...maybe they know, better than anyone, that such exposure would be the end of their belief that someone somewhere will DO something for them...because they'd see quickly enough that no one would, except to smile politely and pass on.
