...how can any American take the moral high ground when discussing Saddam? We describe him as the worst of all possible villains and then blame him for acting the part...what did we expect? On the other hand we excuse the United States, which we laud and praise when it behaves worse than Saddam...we may have no right to expect more from Saddam but surely we can expect better from ourselves?

...Iraq did nothing to America or anybody else to justify this illegal war...yet we're still there killing what even we admit now are innocent civilians. Does that count for nothing? Are we really in a position to cast blame at Saddam?

At least he acted according to type (for argument's sake)....what about us...what about Christianity....who committed the greater crime against himself and his people....Saddam or Bush?
