..Christopher Hitchens I feel they are both too mainstream on the subject of Islam...and , when the subject is Islam, they tend to defend Christianity, which at other times they donīt...or they say that Islam and Christianity are just as bad....

They also focus on Muslim criminals as a representative of Islam in general while giving a pass to all the Christian criminals this culture produces, in the sense that they donīt blame Christ for their crimes....also they forget that Christianity is much older than Islam and, through no effort of the church, has been forced to reform, under sortest, and had cut its fangs and claws trimmed....and yet they compare Islam and Christianity as they if both followed the same developmental curve...itīs very like taunting a six year-old because he doesnīt have the vocabulary, reading and math skills or size and strength of a 12 year-old. The comparison is inherently unfair and unjust.

Islam needs to be seen for what it is without the need to condemn it outright, from ignorance or from a lack of understanding of the conditions Muslims have had to deal with in their own development and history.

For every crime someone wants to claim is "natural" to Islam, there are 100 worse which were natural to Christianity not too long ago...and still are today...like stafrving to death children of a country that never did a thing to you and by a country whose leaders KNEW hadnīt done anything to deserve it.

But other than that...I like how they dissect Christianity...I just wish they used better judgement when it comes to comdeming an entire religion on the basis of what Muslim criminals do...it still smacks too much of what Christians, even intelligent ones, were willing to believe about Jews only a few short years ago.
