I just seen this from Aprim and he is encouraging everyone to check out his web site.

Fred Aprim

"I have updated my site. Please visit it and read about the suffering of the Assyrian Christians, the indigenous people of Iraq"

Then I found this and have a beef with it.

"Religion

Assyrians are predominantly Christians; they adopted Christianity at the hands of the Apostles themselves. Christianity and the Church played a duel role in the Assyrians’ lives: First, it gave the Assyrians a new legacy and through the Church saved their language to this present day. Second, it played a dangerous role at the expense of the Assyrian national aspirations. Some Assyrians even today recognize themselves according to their ecclesiastical designations. Assyrians are erroneously called Nestorians (members of the Assyrian Church of the East), Chaldeans (members of the Chaldean Catholic Church), and Jacobites (members of the Syriac Orthodox Church). The Vatican gave the Biblical name Chaldean to those Nestorians who in 1552 converted to Catholicism in order to distinguish between the two groups. There is no connection whatsoever between the Modern Chaldeans, who existed always in northern Mesopotamia, and the ancient Chaldeans of Babylon (southern Mesopotamia). In fact, the Vatican insulted the Assyrians by giving the converts this name since the Bible clearly shows that the name Chaldean meant nothing but magician, astrologer, and soothsayer (Read Daniel, Chapters 2, 4 and 5). Other Assyrians belong to the Syrian Catholic, Presbyterian, Evangelical, and other denominations."

First of all, there is no evidence of any "Assyrians" adopting Christianity at the hands of anyone during the time of Jesus or immediately after. The first people and only people to believe in Jesus were his own people, and they weren't even Christian. Secondly, I find it foolish for anyone to use the Bible as a source for anything regarding ancient Assyrians or Chaldeans. Now comes my favorite part regarding Chaldeans of today. You sound so sure that they have no connection "whatsoever" to the ancient Chaldeans mentioned in your porn book, but show me where your proof is that you have any connection to the ancient Assyrians. Where is it? There were no Assyrians as an identity in 1552 for the Vatican to insult.

You mention Assyrians as Christians from various denominations, primarily Chaldean Catholic, Nestorian and Syrian Orthodox, but then why do you claim to be an ethnic group? If everyone is Christian as you claim, and must be a Christian, then you are Christian first, and Christian only before anything. The same way you just admitted about the Vatican, which no Chaldean denies, is the same thing with you. You are no more Assyrian than Saddam Hussein was nor are you anymore Assyrian than a modern Chaldean is related to the ancient ones. Is it really that difficult to understand and you think you can fool others with this "indigenous" bullshit? You are Christians(Nestorians mostly) first and Assyrian is synonymous with Christian and the two cannot be separated,

The moment an Assyrian(someone raised Nestorian) leaves Christianity for Islam or no religion, he is no longer an "Assyrian" and that's because it's a Christian thing only. The Iraqi government knows this very well and that is why they don't even spend a second listening to your propaganda. Every Iraqi Muslim says that the ancient Assyrians, Babylonians, etc are their ancestors and nobody denies the history. Najah Sabri, a high ranking member of Saddam's inner circle, once said during an interview, shortly before the invasion, "we have a history that goes back to our ancestors, the Assyrians, Babylonians and Sumerians" and he further said something about Bush's ancestors were in "caves" when our ancestors were doing big things. Every Iraqi Baath member was a proud of his heritage and acknowledged his history.

Why are they not as Assyrian as you, is it not because they are not Christian? And who are you to say that nobody has any relations to the ancient Chaldeans? And how is that only Christians are Assyrians when you claim it's an ethnicity and not a religion, first? I wish you would respond to my emails or come on here so I could use you as my punching bag but you ignore it. As i said, you are no more Assyrian than Saddam Hussein was, and judging from the way you behave and the way Saddam behaved and embraced his death like a a real soldier, I would say he is more convincing than you are. I can't take someone too serious who hides on the internet and who is afraid of words. You claim to be a direct descendant of Ashur Banipal, who was more similar to Saddam, then you are, but all I see is a coward Christian who hides in the bedroom.

I just don't see any resemblance between you, Dadeesho and the others of your kind, and those ancient people who I have read about in history books. I think you are full of shit and that's why you hide. I don't hide and I am always in the open, challenging and getting banned from your forum's and it's your likes who run. If anyone makes a bizarre claim, people will question and demand proof. You expect a scientist to be taken serious just by his word? Should we take you serious the same way you take the Bible as truth by mere faith? The only reason you people find it rude and feel insulted when your "nation" is questioned is because it's as thin as toilet paper and backed by opinions lies. It is very fragile and that's why you avoid serious discussions. I guess if I take a picture in front of a Mercedes Benz, from a dealership, it becomes my car. This is your proof when it comes to Assyrian nationalism. You link yourself to the ancients by going to a museum in London or Berlin and take a picture in front of some statue, and just like that, you are related to the ancients. Anyone who questions or demands proof, the same as you do with Chaldeans, must be "evil" and working to "undermine" your silly nation.

I will question you and demand your evidence for your claims. I do this the same way you do to the Chaldeans and Suryoye whom you so love to deny and Assyrianize. If they don't pay any attention to you, then they become "Arab lovers" or working with the enemy. Just to let you know, and you said it yourself, just because an empire falls, it doesn't mean the people just vanish. You said it in the same article which I partially quoted, so what does that say about the Akkadians, Sumerians, Chaldeans and the many other people who once existed in Mesopotamia? Did they just vanish without a trace or where are they? Why are all of today's syrioc speaking Christians directly linked to the ancient Assyrians but not to Arameans, Chaldeans, Amorites or someone else?

I like to hear your ridiculous response to some of these questions. You so love to mention the amount of years the ancient Chaldeans ruled Mesopotamia"only 87 years" and you do this even when it does not pertain to the subject. Are you implying that nobody today is related to them because they ruled for "only 87 years"? What kind of logic is this? The truth about you, just as all of you, is that you are a small group of propagandists who fabricate, lie and falsify history for your own agendas. You are a group of racist Christian fanatics, who hate to live with Muslims, so you want to pose as an ethnic group when in reality you are only a religious minority from Iraq or Syria. Of course it also helps that Iraq is rich in oil and you wouldn't mind taking a huge piece of that pie. You wouldn't make these demands if Iraq was poor and had no resources and you wouldn't even be crying about persecution. In fact, if Christians were persecuting you, fucking your women, and forcing you to convert to their branch of Christianity(as they have done in the past), you wouldn't mind it at all, but Iraqis happen to be Muslims and speak a "dirty" language so you refuse to live with them or among them.

racists is what you people are and you are Christian fanatics who want to create a country of your own, with oil, of course, and you use the ancient Assyrians as your way of doing it. It hasn't worked, the "our smallest ally' days are long gone and no western nation will fight on your behalf for a country of your own, and especially not in Iraq or Middle east. You can live in Iraq or Kurdistan or you can move to Sweden, France, Canada, USA, Australia or wherever else you have migrated to.
