ever heard of that one? it was used by the head of the church at various times and not only against Muslims but even for other Christians. When the last of the paulician Christian community was hiding in a Catholic church in France, the soldiers asked the pope how they would know who was who and the above was the response given. The church was afraid that they would save themselves by posing as "real Christians" and in order to avoid this, even their own were killed without discrimination. The same exact words were used for Muslims and Christians in Palestine during the crusades. It was hard to distinguish between some Christians and Muslims because they dressed alike etc. The history of Christianity is very bloody and there are still radical Christian militias and movements out there that blow up abortion clinics, attack gays and even want to overthrow the government and replace it with a Christian one. Words such as "infidels" "holy war" etc were all introduced and only used by Christians. Neither of these words exist in the Quran and there is not even an Arabic equivalent for "infidel" or "fundamentalist".
