...it was a rough campaign they waged last week....several shots were fired...several bombs blew up in their faces...they wrote furiously, well, a few lines at least...they outlined needed changes...they proposed new policies...they took shots at their own leaders, and the churches and each other (no Muslims were hit)...they pointed out the failures of other people...they urged assyrians to sign up and fight for the country and save assyrian girls from rape and crucifixion and worse...and then they collapsed and have remained that way except for Dandy who swung his hips by to drop a couple of jokes....but today...today their blood is up again and they're off to the next campaign, over the next sand dune on their way to victory and the reemergence of assyria....and, most fittingly, it starts with "imagination"...their most potent weapon.

This is the headline posted from a New York Times op-ed

"Imagining a Remapped Middle East"

..this is significant, to them, because it's what they do best....."imagine" they are assyrians....imagine they are indigenous to Iraq...imagine they are fighting a fight...imagine they are better than any Muslim...imagine someone is going to do something for them.......this headline is the perfect bugle-call for another week of heavy breathing, if not exactly heavy fighting....

...now, who will imagine himself next?
