...they donlt ask the most basic questions or point out the most glaring points...because they make money from "continuing controversy"...also, the can't afford to piss off conservatives who'll then refuse to appear on their chows...but, the governot of Texas said that the people of Texas voted against Gay marriage and the Federal government HAS to respect the WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

No, it DOESN'T! That's not our system...maybe Perry is thinking of the Soviet Union...in our system minorities are legally protected against bad laws passed by the WILL OF THE PEOPLE...that's what the courts do..they review all laws to see if they are truly LEGAL, meaning in accord with the US Constitution....this isn't being "activist", it's doing what the Constitution tells you to do....Texas can pass any number of discriminatory laws...that doesn't mean they can stand....that's the system..and all news anchors know this, but not a one I have heard has pointed that out to the pointy-headed...because they want to keep them from being offended, and keep them coming on their shows, so they won;t look "biased" if conservatives boycott them....so we get stupidity all around.
