...murder, yes. Massacre, yes...but genocide? No. At least not by the Turks. Words have MEANING...¨hero¨used to have one meaning, now it means any American soldier killing children anywhere in the world...they are ALL heroes....the same way genocide has a specific meaning and that has not been shown in the case of the Turks, so naturally, the same Christians who changed the meaning of ¨hero¨for politcial reasons, changed the meaning of ¨genocide¨to mean...äny Christians killed anywhere by Muslims¨.

The German Christians had been murdering and persecuting Jews for centuries...they were known for it, they bragged about it, they sang prasies to their lord after each massacre, it was normal and natural to them and their religion, therefore there was no real surprise, except for the scale, when they committed their most recent one during WW II. The Holocaust was perfectly in keeping with their known character, as revealed in their history.

Quite the opposite is true of the Turks. Once again, Christian, historians have called the Ottomans the ¨gentlemen of the Middle Ages¨whose word was their bond...Will Durant, and others, discuss how Christians from Eastern Europe would run to the Sultan´s lands in the dead of night to get away from their battling Bishops and heresy trials...the Turks were famous and known for their tolerance...their empire was the ONLY place on earth where Muslims, Christians and Jews have EVER lived side by side in peace...far more peace than existed between Christian and Christian in Europe, or America (remember the Civil War.). Therefore, these charges levelled at the Turks today, by the offspring of the very Christians who murdered so many JUST for their religion committing massacre after massacre the world over should be seen with great suspicion and doubt....the Turks are being accused of something their history, not my opinion, clearly shows they were NEVER guilty of...while those accusing them have a known history of being the actual parents of genocide and a Holocaust.

If. and it is a big IF, there emerges evidence that the behavior and atitude of the Turks changed towards their Christian subjects, then we have to look for some cause, some event which may have led the Turks to review the position and rights of their Christian subjects...mostly there is that little matter of WW I when Christian nations decided to wage war against the Turks to steal the same oil they are STILL killing Muslims over...and such incidents as a gang of Armenians who took hostages in the Bank of Turkey in Istanbul and threatened to blow the entire building and people up...they were eventually given safe conduct out of the country, sailing away on the private yacht of the British Ambassador...no charges filed. Pretty damn tolerant still, I would say...the point is Christians gave the Turks good reason to mistrust their Christian citizens...and there were many more such acts of sedition and treason against the Ottomans by their Christian subjects...and, finally, in a genocide the government goes after evry last designated enemy...this did not happen. The Turks made no move against all the Christians living in the major cities or in the interior of the country...their targets were specific: they aimed only at moving those Christians living on their borders further inland...and why? because they always hated Christians or because Christians living along the far borders had been inviting and allowing foreign Christian agents to enter the country and live among them and hide them while they did their work in preparing for Christiana rmies to attack Turkey? Once agin, it was the Christians themselves, by their ACTIONS, and not their beliefs, which raised the suspicions of the government and led to them being evacuated from the border region...but Christians elsewhere were left alone...this is NOT a genocide...the German Christians went looking for EVERY Jew they could find, anywhere and everywhere...they even sent you to your death if youy had a FRACTION of Jewish blood, whatever that is.
