"He added that liberals on “the left” have been imposing their own moral code on Americans for quite some time. “You can call it a theology, you can call it a moral code, you can call it a world view,” he said. “They want to impose [that] on everybody else while they insist and complain that somehow or another people of Judeo Christian faith are intolerant of their new moral code.” ...what Liberals impose is the US Constitution...when they demanded equal civil rights, they were upholding the Constitution...when they demanded an end to second-class citizenship for Blacks, women and Gays, they were again upholding the Constitution, not "their" views...it happens that many of their views coincide with beliefs enshrined in our Constitution, but they are not their private personal or exclusive beliefs, they are the LAW of the LAND...it is Conservatives who are imposing their beliefs on everyone else...beliefs NOT contained in the Constitution...Liberals are "imposing" the Law of the Land....not the law of god, as Conservatives want to do. --------------------- |
