...It's astonishing that you would even doubt that the Eucharist means REAL flesh and blood. That's such an established rite. I posted the definition of "transubstantiation", which spoke of it as REAL meat and blood...not symbollic. Also, earlier, Assyrian Muslim posted a letter from a Cardinal stating again that it is not symbollic but real meat and blood...I can't find it just yet...but really, it's hardly open to question by Catholics and Orthodox alike...Chaldean Catholics may be different...but Roman Catholics and Orthodox have no doubts

So there you have a site from the Holy See where you may find something that backs your claims.

...I already know it does...and not just Roman Catholics but Orthodox as well...that means a few billion Christians who teach and practice cannibalism.

Besides which posting a link, which you haven't bothered to read, isn't what I had in mind...it's your reponsibility to post the ACTUAL information and not just refer us somewhere. You're the one claiming that I'm wrong...you're the one claiming that Catholic doctrine says it is NOT real meat and blood...therefore it's your responsibility to post here some official confirmation of what you claim...so far we're two up on you...first with the Cardinal's letter and then with the dictionary definition of transubstantiation...those who write dictionaries which define religious terms seek those definitions from officials of those religions...they don't make them up to suit themselves....if the definition is incorrect, the Church would have taken up the issue a few centuries ago.
